The space backpack comes with a detachable rectangular mat and a short leash, the main entrance has two zips at the top with an extra zip loop to insert your own lock, a small one side zip access the inner and small side zip grid for external storage. We originally planned on using this backpack to lift our nearly 5 pound kitten, but it came in its own portable cage. For his first check-up we took our kitten to the vet, which is within walking distance, in this backpack and he did a great job. I wore the pack on the front with the clear bubble option and occasionally held my hand in front of him so he could see I was wearing it when he meowed. Received compliments from staff. I also added Paw's S/M white folded puplounge topper (toppers only, no foam) as too many were sent to me. It's important to realize that once you fully unzip the zipper, especially if you're still wearing it, the entire bag will fall apart like a fully opened jaw - the bag's contents fall out, including your cat and the removable rectangular mat. It's best to position the bag securely before opening it, and that's it. We deliberately did not remove the almost invisible plastic that should have been on the surface of the bag to avoid scratches during shipping. The design reminds us of the game Among Us, so we put a matching vinyl sticker on the front. If the kitty ever gets too big for the bag we'll look at other options as long as it's sturdy and works!
