We have a very spoiled Karin Terrier. Although we have had several dogs before him, none of the dogs were loved as much by the family. He loves spending time with "his people" but since we just got a new leather sofa we didn't want to get into the habit of inviting him onto the furniture. However, this makes him sad because he feels left out. Well, now he can have his own sofa (which yes, we put our own sofa) to enjoy and it makes him feel closer to family. Our dog is 15 pounds and quite long. This bed is the perfect size as it can recline, lie down or sit on with plenty of space. He seems to like it a lot and it feels soft and comfortable. It was a bit difficult for me to figure out how to assemble it, but other family members figured it out quickly. It appears to be very well made and durable and we hope it will serve you well for many years to come. Honestly I wouldn't call it a sofa, more like a good bed. It only looks like a sofa because of the back and side supports, but it doesn't actually look like a sofa. But it's really cute and it's perfect for our needs. I have a feeling he'll put in many hours of this every day, especially as winter approaches and we huddle closer to the fire. It's a bit pricey but I think it's worth investing in a quality product that will last. We are very happy with this product and recommend trying it.
