Upon opening the cardboard box, we inspected all the pieces before assembling. One of the legs, at the top, where the dowel is located, has a bad bruise like it had been hit by something. After looking at how it would not be too noticeable, since it was up under the bottom of the table, we decided to put it together. I am hoping it will not impact the use of the table.When we tried to remove the staples holding the nylon shipping straps, they would not come out without a lot of force and possibly gouging the table as well. So we decided to cut away, as much as we could, the nylon strapping.whick left little black tufts of nylon.Aside from these things ( that could have been prevented with a little more care) the table a nice design;one which goes very nicely with mid-century or modern decorating.I would be much happier though if the seller would compensate me for accepting a less than perfect product concerning the matter above. I'm hoping they will do the right thing.
