These micro leashes are great.

If your dog walks off-leash most of the time but you want to hold him when needed without bending over, this is a great option (at least for medium to large dogs). The only downside is that they are hanging in the dirt. I'm still working on the best way to attach the end of the handle to the collar. A little velcro on the handle and collar might work. I've used rubber bands with conflicting results. Also brown or black might be better than the two red ones I have.
