- See update below - I really like the robot vacuum concept and this one does a particularly good job. Slim, smart and powerful. *Almost* like a Tesla in vacuum form. But I'm not at all a fan of the fact that it's made of parts that break so easily. (Manufacturers in all industries do this to ensure consistent revenue. Look at planned obsolescence.) Most parts appear to be in good condition, but on average, brushes need to be replaced just over once a month. It's quite obvious that they earn a premium on selling spare parts. Either make quality parts first, or don't make us pay 15% off a unit every time we need a stupid brush. Hopefully eufy will stop cheapening its brand and put an end to this practice. They have the potential to be a Tesla, but they're more like a Range Rover built to collapse * Yufi came forward immediately after this review was published. They offered to send in some new brushes and bristles - I didn't say yes or no but the gesture was appreciated. In the interests of consumers, I told them that I will not change a critical part of my review (note that they did not ask me to). The same process repeats itself over and over again with many manufacturers - it's easier to overwhelm yourself. and soothe a frustrated customer instead of fixing the root cause while thousands of others are experiencing the same issue. ** Please note that it was helpful to send a message that consumers will no longer tolerate this.
