Booked this for a small pool party later this month so this little one needs to perform outdoors in a high humidity pool area with over 15 people chatting and laughing. In an empty living room, the sound is decent. The tone changes depending on the surface it rests on: softer on a concrete countertop, deeper on a teak coffee table. It charged within 2 hours and pairing with my iPhone was quick and easy. As for the LED light show, I don't care. I bought it for music, not cheap disco. So far only two shortcomings: 1. Recommendations are a joke. A booklet the size of a matchbox contains only obscure graphics. 2. It won't turn off no matter how many times I press the power button. I will update the post party.
