Review on 🏍️ FreedConn DOT Bluetooth Integrated Motorcycle Helmet with 500m FM Radio/MP3 & 2-3 Riders Intercom – Multi-Color, XL by Jonathan King

First of all let me say that the seller is INCREDIBLY responsive. They replaced my helmet for free when it was originally defective. They even sent me a new helmet BEFORE I gave them my helmet back. The seller went above and beyond to ensure that this purchase was a positive experience for me. I've been riding for about 30 years and have been Shoei's Guy most of the time. I decided to try something different with this FreedConn helmet mainly because I needed Bluetooth connectivity, sound and the ability to make and take calls. I have all that. 1) Sound quality is better than expected and fully functional. My wife understands everything I say on the phone when I'm driving at 80 miles an hour. I don't need maximum volume to hear everything clearly (her voice on a phone call or music). 2) I can listen to streaming music, my iPod or whatever. I wasn't expecting an FM receiver but it works great and is an added bonus. What really surprised me was the overall excellent build quality of the helmet. Looks and feels fantastic.1) The upholstery is comfortable and of good quality. It can also be washed. 2) The main visor moves slightly, but only when I want it to (I have no problem staying open or closed at high speed). 3) The inner (shaded) visor works VERY WELL. I honestly didn't even expect it to be there, but now I use it all the time (and it easily hides in my helmet when I'm not using it). This inner visor allows me to wear my prescription glasses comfortably at any time of the day. 4) They give a free pair of VERY wearable gloves (thin, well ventilated). 5) It's winter now so I'm having a hard time. Check the helmet's ventilation (one area for the mouth/chin and one at the top of the helmet), but it almost doesn't matter. When it's hot I can keep the main visor up and I have LOTS of airflow into the helmet just using the inner visor. An added bonus is that replacement parts are readily available (pads, visors, etc.). ), and cheap! I'm not sure how long it will be available in this form, but as a longtime rider I know things like the visor and padding wear out. I'm going to get an extra visor and an extra set of padding simply because I know I WANT it at some point, even if I don't necessarily NEED it. This helmet is an AMAZING value. I highly recommend it!
