Efficient, worked with Alienware laptop (pre 2020: check out the new model in my review)

Review 2017: Much more efficient than with inverter and factory AC power. Doesn't get hot when charged and used at the same time. My Alienware laptop warns me that it only uses 90W instead of the factory 240W, but charges the battery very well. UPDATE 2020: High-end Dell laptop owners may no longer be able to use this charger. I have concluded that Dell deliberately took action to disable my non-Dell 12V charger with a recent Dell update. I am not happy. Dell doesn't tell me which update is supposed to disable working chargers and how to uninstall this update. Dell doesn't make a 12V charger for my laptop, but PWR+ has an updated model (P/N B002UI2Y8Q) that works great! It's 90w and my 17 r4 came with a 240w AC charger so it charges at a slower rate but also charges while in use.
