You look great. They fit great. I like elastic shoelaces. Unfortunately after eight runs of 10-12 miles my feet and ankles hurt and even my knees complain. Why It Happens The soles appear to be soft and cushioning materials, but I think it's the flat soles that put too much power back on my feet. Every step knocks. UPDATE: I hate giving these shoes a star, but in ten years of running I have never had this kind of pain in my ankles and knees after running in these shoes. The outsole's firm, flat surface transfers impact directly to the foot, while the foam offers little to no impact cushioning. When I lean forward in ASICS I can feel the sole compression under my toes. I don't feel it at all when I wear these shoes.
