I bought my first tire changer because I didn't want to keep the traditional T-bar tire changer I've always had, but I've bought two more for others cars in my family because it is so easy to use. I haven't had much luck with tires over the past few years so I've benefited a lot from them and they're a fantastic tool. I have a Ram 1500 so I had to buy a larger wrench to fit the grommets on my truck, but it packs nicely in the bag that this iron comes in. Of course, it's more expensive than a plain T, but you can buy any. The wrench you need for a perfect fit when your car's lugs aren't included in the onboard drivers, and the ability to change the lever position for extra leverage is well worth it. I'd rather spend a little more and have a tool that works when I need it than save a few bucks and be stranded.
