To decorate doors and walls!
They were used on the doors of our cruise ship as decoration. Cruise passengers loved seeing them and we put them in the fishing net. Any door or wall can be decorated as we only extended the fabric on one side as it was installed on a flat surface. If you try this, make sure everything is in order and place them high enough so they don't disturb the staff and you as you enter and exit the room.
