i love this thing

Failed to load media. I've wanted a thermal imager for a long time and I'm glad something affordable has appeared. I uploaded a video showing the lack of insulation behind the ceiling and walls in my house and of course I had to post photos of the cats. Very entertaining, very useful and worth every penny and I have hope for the future with even better images and more features. Some things I would like: Burst shot option. Images are low resolution and signal-to-noise ratio can be poor, but if you have a mount and can take multiple images in a row, you can stack them to reduce noise and improve quality a bit. This technique was used to take a picture of my cat sitting in her bed. The self-timer can also be very useful (and easy). A small disappointment: the camera does not take pictures very quickly. It's something like every 5 seconds or so. Videos also stick periodically. The camera makes a soft click or tap while the video stutters/lags/stutters (choose a verb). I don't know what is the reason but it seems normal? And yes, the videos contain playback stutters. It's not just a display issue. Anyway, thanks to this Santa Barbara company for putting out an affordable and surprisingly good camera.
