Aftermarket devices are not durable. I worked through a few until the OEM fixed the issue.
This unit was the second I bought as I was trying to clear the check engine light. It got better for a moment, but a few days later the light returned. I figured after two "new" sensors it would be something to my liking since my Silverado has a mid-cam. But after a few hours of fiddling, I logged the output of this maf and there was 1.6g of constant flow, no change, and my truck is just running at speed density. So I said hell with it and bought the OEM. The problem was fixed immediately and works great. It's been fine for a few months. Moral of the story, don't skimp on your maf.
