Our old pillows lost their comfort/support. We woke up with a sore neck and almost every night I had nerve problems and tingling fingers. I mostly sleep on my side and he sleeps on my stomach. After studying and comparing probably 10 pillows I decided to order this set. We've had them for 1 week now and wow! The difference in sleep quality is incredible! The cooling side is good; It's not an ice pack or anything, but the feeling of being chilled is helpful. I agree with some of the other reviews that the pillow is a bit heavy, but that wasn't a problem for us. We didn't notice any "chemical" smell at all. I took them out of the packaging, left them in the living room overnight to set them in shape, sprayed them with some Febreeze and placed them in clean pillowcases. All in all, I definitely recommend this pillow.
