Review on ๐ป NESDR XTR+ Extended-Range TCXO-Based RTL-SDR & DVB-T USB Stick (RTL2832U + E4000) by NooElec with Antenna and Remote Control by Cedrick Ayudara
Does not work for ADS-B.
Seems to work pretty well, except for one thing I didn't find mentioned in the Revain description or in the Q&A (I should have read the NooElec website more closely): This device has a receiver gap of about 1100MHz to 1200MHz. In fact they say it depends on the device and mine doesn't tune above 1080MHz. If you want to do an ADS-B reception, you have to look elsewhere. 1090MHz is not available. It's also a pity that none of these RTL-based SDRs reach the 2.4 GHz band. It would be nice to be able to use them for WiFi thermal mapping etc.
