Great product and easy to install. I would never connect a camping pedestal without this protection. I bought a new second camper and this is the first update I installed. I have this unit in both of my RV's now and they work flawlessly. It is an American manufacturer in North Carolina and is by far the best system on the market today. Installation was easy if you can strip some wires and use a screwdriver. One day on a busy camping memorial weekend, my device cut the power to the bus due to a low voltage surge. We were at the lake and when we got back to the camper I saw a flashing error code indicating we had a low voltage at the base while we were away. Everyone probably turned on their AC power, causing the voltage to drop and the back-up system to go off. Now that this device is installed I can be sure of myself and never have to worry again when a thunderstorm is raging nearby. I strongly recommend installing this system. It comes with a display. The manufacturer packs the display in a shipping box so that when you open the box you can see it there and remove it for installation. The cable of the display head is very long, giving you many mounting options. I like the wired version because I don't forget it, it doesn't get stolen, it doesn't get beat up in my storage box or the weather and I can see the display without going out and I can control the bypass switch in the RV. It's built solidly, has an outstanding lifetime warranty and the service department is here to help if you need technical support, even when you're on the go.
