I couldn't wear boxing gloves for more than 6 months because the smell of sweat can be unbearable. As rude as it sounds, there were days I wore gloves to class and it was still wet from the previous days of training! I think in just two years I've changed 4-5 different pairs of gloves. I wanted to find a solution that would at least make my gloves last a little longer before needing to be replaced. I've tried a few other brands, but I hated the headache-inducing smells that other deodorants deal with and their inability to "drain moisture" from the gloves as advertised. I compare the solution offered by other deodorant brands to spraying scented spray in the bathroom after choosing number 2 - it masks the odor but doesn't eliminate it. I stumbled across them and am very happy with the product! I bought the Jasmine and Sakura fragrances and am happy to report that the scent is not overpowering at all! The scent of both is as pleasant as it is subtle. At the end of each session, I first wipe my gloves with either a dry paper towel or a Lysol tissue and refill them with deodorant. When I put them on the next day, the inside of my gloves are dry to the bone and smell like a fragrant tea shop! I hope I'm not flooring myself but so far there hasn't even been a hint of odor from the accumulated sweat since I started using them on a new pair of gloves I bought. I love them so much I even bought one to keep in my closet! Highly recommend these if you want to extend the life of your gloves and keep them smelling fresh for both you and your training partners!
