The belt was very tight, but having had to change the belt for the first time I hadn't noticed that it was too tight for the Bssel PowerForce vacuum cleaner. The pressure melted the bearing at the end of the roller and the heat actually melted the mount so the vacuum is now broken. I guess I'm not getting my $150 from these people so don't let that happen to you!
