Review on MSI Pulse GL76 I7 12700H RTX3070 by Wiktor Czerwiski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

I picked up a laptop with a config 17.3 + i7 + 16 Ozu + SSD. There are practically no options on the market at an affordable price. Those that I really like stand like a wing from an airplane (Creator for example). I also considered Katan-y - cheaper, but according to reviews - problems with cooling. I settled on this option - I have never regretted it. I expanded the RAM, added another terabyte hard drive, so as not to return to this issue. Everything flies. I tested it with Aida, then tested it on my real tasks - not a single hint of even the slightest slowdown or overheating. Games pull everything on ultras (well, from those that I tried), heavy programs too (but to tell the truth, I don’t do design, so I can’t judge video). In the integrated performance assessment built into Windows, it knocks out 6.5 - just because of the vidyuhi, the remaining parameters are 9.7-9.9

Pros
  • - 17.3 - Excellent iron configuration - Ability to expand the RAM and storage system - Excellent screen: 144 Hz, thin bezels, good color reproduction - All the necessary functions are in place (turning off the camera for example or microphone, etc.) - Well assembled, nowhere backlash and does not rattle. Feels monolithic (even after I took it apart to install the RAM) - Lightweight (considering the config) - Acceptable autonomy - Acceptable price - MSI Center software - you can configure a lot of parameters (- read in shortcomings)
Cons
  • The keyboard is backlit with three modes. The modes are switched by pressing the mode button again. The default setting is: 1-bright cerulean blue (pull-and-throw your eyes out). 2 - frequent blinking of orange (you forget why you went to the computer) 3 - Blinking with color change once per beat (same as 2). These modes can be configured in the pre-installed software - MSI Center. The modes are set up perfectly, a very wide range of parameters can be selected, but ! modes saved in this way only work when they are switched in MSI Center. The modes button on the keyboard continues to work with the default modes. Those. when working in the dark, you either need to put up with the presets or run the MSI Center every time to change the mode. I think Windows is to blame for everything, which climbs where it does not need to, but I'm not sure. For me, all this is not very critical, all the same, the modes rarely change in battle, but nevertheless it turns out that I don’t use ondu from the buttons on the keyboard, although I want to :)
