Review on Honeywell HF715 Turbo Force Floor Fan - Small, Black - Oscillating Personal Fan for 🌬️ Home or Office with Remote Control - Enhanced LED Control Panel, 3 Speeds & 90° Pivot by Jessica Veliz

Not "small ", but a bit noisy

The Honeywell HF-715 fan is anything but small. It's more like a mid-sized desktop fan. This particular fan is electronically controlled for ease of use and also allows the use of a remote control that duplicates the buttons on the fan. There are four main controls: On/Off, Fan Speed (High/Medium-Low when the button is pressed once, twice or three times), Auto-Off Timer (turns the fan off after 1, 2 or 4 hours depending on the number) . Number of button presses and oscillation on/off. Because the fan uses electronic control instead of mechanical control, it cannot be used in combination with a Smart Switch. it won't be able to turn the fan back on. Electronically controlled window air conditioners also have this problem, which is why there's so much Wi-Fi on the market lately. I was surprised that the air duct here is such a small fan, but I really expected more from an Air Vornado circulator. Honeywell is more like a regular fan, but noisier. The higher the speed of this fan, the louder it gets. Although it expels more air than a typical fan, the 40-foot claim is a bit of a stretch. I'd say 20ft is probably more like that in real life. A high airflow works well on a hot day if you can stand the noise. I'm glad I had this fan when Ida struck and flooded the basement. It really helped dry things down there. Conclusion: The fan is larger than expected, it is not a "small" fan as stated in the product description. It is durable and has good build quality. The fan is a bit noisy and gets louder as the speed increases. The output distance is a bit exaggerated by the manufacturer, but it has good output power. Electronic control makes it easy to control the fan with buttons and a handy remote, but also prevents the Smart Switch fan from being used to control the fan from a cellphone or voice assistant like Alexa. When it comes down to it, you can find another fan.
