Bought to keep my hair out of the hot tub
Caps are roomy enough to keep my down-to-the-small-of-my-back length hair up and dry in the hot tub, while the elastic is strong enough to keep it fitting securely on my head. Haven't tried it in the shower, but it's waterproof enough to resist splashing; I have no reason to assume it wouldn't keep your hair dry in the shower. Unless your hair has a lot of volume (very long and curly, or very big afro) this cap will probably fit over it just fine.
