Some parts don't fit together easily
I installed this on my son's 2001 325i because the hose to the dipstick had a vacuum leak. Two hoses did not close. Once I was able to get it to stay in place by squeezing the tabs after squeezing the hose (very hard to do). The other one I had to use with zip ties because it didn't hold up at all. It works but I would recommend just buying the OEM part. You'll probably only need one hose anyway, and that's probably the one that connects to the dipstick. If so, then just buy an OEM hose. So much easier to fix.
- The PCV system is notorious for being prone to failure, resulting in high oil consumption, oil combustion, loss of power, misfire and high carbon buildup. Signs of a PCV failure include: whistling noise in the intake, bluish smoke in the exhaust, high oil consumption, and thick white or yellow dirt under the oil cap. If this happens to your BMW vehicles, you can use this PCV hose kit as a direct replacement.
