I was looking for a base to hold my pearl stud earrings in my ear. My previous back was dangling and the earring kept falling out. I'm shocked I didn't lose it. So I realized I needed new backs and read the reviews on this product. I have ordered and they are great. They are very snug on the earring and I'm not worried about the earring moving or falling out. Some reviews said the back didn't match the rivet at all, so I don't know which rivets they carry. It fitted my bobby pin snugly and stayed there. This is how the backs should sit. Having just ordered them I don't know how long the metal will last as one review said they turned green. But I think I will. At least they are closed! Good price!
