This pillowcase is made from a heavier quality of silk than I expected for the price. It feels firm in hand and under head and does a great job of keeping my wavy hair tangle-free at night. It also washes well - I hand washed it as recommended and dries very quickly on a hanger. The zipper is well sewn. The quality seems very high from all angles. I will be buying another one for my niece who has very curly hair and would probably benefit from a silk pillowcase to prevent overnight breakage. Some silk pillowcases feel fragile. This pillowcase has a durable feel and gives the impression that with basic care it will last a long time. I don't see how I could be happier with the item. Fast shipping and very good quality at a very reasonable price.
