Review on Qualatex Star Wars Onyx Black Biodegradable Latex Balloons | Darth Vader & Yoda Prints All-Around | 11-Inch Round (12-Units) by Crystal Velar

Bought for an adult birthday, so everything worked out, but based on my experience, I wonder how suitable they are for children. Pros: - Graphics cover all sides of the iodine balloon on one side, Darth Vader on the other, and the Star Wars logo in between. (no blank page) - graphics are sharp and readable - delivery was very quick Cons: - balloons have a very strong chemical smell which reminds me of the old school permanent markers that used to get people high. I'm concerned about the toxicity of what was used to make/decorate them. - The smell made it hard to explode (because the smell and everything associated with it is right under your nose when you take a deep breath). - That they should not be enlarged to full size. A few blasts exploded in my hands or just lay on the ground if they were the size of my simple balloons. They also lose color quicker than my regular balloons as they get bigger. I don't find the material that thick (I'm not sure if the 'biodegradable' aspect helped, but if it did, it would be a suitable compromise). In short, not very durable. In general, they looked cool but weren't very durable and could pose a safety hazard. I'm not really the type to worry too much about smells like that. it didn't feel like it was meant to be in my mouth or inhaled. Overall, I still give 3 stars because they meet my needs. For a children's party I would give 0-1 stars.
