Qualatex Star Wars Onyx Black Biodegradable Latex Balloons | Darth Vader & Yoda Prints All-Around | 11-Inch Round (12-Units) Review

Great design for a Star Wars themed event! I originally planned to blow them up with helium and tie them to a gift basket for the May 4th event. However, due to the material, balloons are not designed to be inflated with helium. When using helium, some of them will burst. I had to inflate them with regular air and put them around a gift basket because obviously they can't swim without helium. It's a shame but I did it. Don't get it if you plan on blowing them up with helium!

The design of these balloons is exactly what I wanted but I was not at all impressed with the quality. I took them to a store less than two miles away to be filled with helium and when I got home four of them had burst. I understand that sometimes balloons just don't survive, but four out of twelve isn't a very high dropout rate. Additionally, there were some design consistency issues. Bought for an adult birthday, so everything worked out, but based on my experience, I wonder how suitable they are for children. Pros: - Graphics cover all sides of the iodine balloon on one side, Darth Vader on the other, and the Star Wars logo in between. (no blank page) - graphics are sharp and readable - delivery was very quick Cons: - balloons have a very strong chemical smell which reminds me of the old school permanent markers that used to get people high.
