Not my favorite set of home clothes. I wouldn't let anyone see me in this set. I didn't like the neck at all. It keeps me upright and bothering me but doesn't cover my neck so it can be opened at the neck for more comfort. I kept trying to flip it up so it doesn't look so scruffy, but it doesn't stay in any position other than the scalloped stand-up collar. In addition, the shirt is large in the chest area. It measures 48 inches, which gives me plenty of wiggle room but makes the arms look weird. I chose the large because I have a 40" chest and didn't want the "mid 40" chest to be tight, the sleeves are quite long (19" from armpits to bottom) , although the armholes are too big and sagging for me.. Because of this, in a shirt it's impractical to raise your arms to shoulder level or above your head. The fabric has low stretch and doesn't stretch very much. Its usable stretch is about 125% in width and is almost nonexistent in height. The fabric is a medium weight flat matte fleece.I can't pull my sleeves up over my forearms to wash my hands or just get them out of the way. The cuffs of the sleeves don't have enough elasticity to move them higher than a few inches Pants: I have a very long crotch, I can pull them over my belly button before the crotch gets close. If I put the belt on the normal waist point , the step depends 5 inches. It's neither comfortable nor pretty. Inseam 31 inches. The legs taper from a very wide 28" at the hips to a narrow 12" at the ankles. For me the size of the hips is too big for 50 inches. I don't like the tight look at the ankle and the big bulky look around my hips. If the ankles didn't have elastic cuffs to hold them in place, maybe it would be better to hang them up. For the record, I'm 40/36/39, 6ft 194lb, not a short guy, but not a muscular man either. If I could spend a lifetime testing all sizes instead of guessing, I'd rather wear a medium size. I will never know Size charts require as many measurements as possible and should explain the level of simplicity given in the sizing information. I never know if the table is the size of the clothes or my height. This chart is no exception. I would never have gone for the large size if I knew the chest measurement is 48 inches. They need big changes to be comfortable with me. I have already halved the shirt collar and pulled it down a centimeter at the front. It's still wavy but doesn't bother my throat. In general: warm fabric, although it lacks elasticity, good workmanship, fits me terribly, style doesn't bother me, but it's warm for winter. It's good to sleep when no one sees you. I would not buy again. (PS: I usually love David Archie's stuff, I have a lot of their t-shirts and underwear and they are all excellent)
