First off I would like to say that I would give the 4 camera Zosi ZR08ZM 5 stars. However, I wanted a hard drive for data storage. The ZR08ZM doesn't come with a hard drive so I ordered Western Digital which is recommended by Revain. After installing and powering on, the ZR08ZM could not find the WD hard drive. So I returned the WD Revain hard drive for replacement. After installing the replacement device and powering it on, the ZR08ZM recognized the hard drive and formatted the hard drive. However, the ZR08ZM could not write to the disc. Since the Z R08ZM doesn't work with any of the hard drives, Zosi must be at fault. After negotiations with Zosi's support, they agreed to replace the ZR08ZM. In the meantime I have ordered a Seagate hard drive recommended by Zosya. When the Zosi replacement arrived I tried the WD hard drive first with the same previous results. After installing the Seagate hard drive everything worked fine. Obviously, the ZR08ZM is picky about which hard drive it pairs with.
