It has some flaws, but it's not a bad case.

I've been using the case for about a week and I'm basically satisfied. It's easy to install, the batteries in the keyboard last a long time before the backlight is at maximum brightness, the rotating "screen" works pretty well. The trackpad takes a little getting used to, but that's down to Apple's software, not the case's hardware. The keyboard is easy to type and very responsive. As the title suggests, however, there are a few downsides. The pencil/pen holder is a vinyl loop that attaches to the left side of the keyboard. It's not very durable, and mine has already come loose from the case, rendering it unusable. However, there is enough space on the top of the iPad case to attach your pencil/stylus with magnets. When the screen is flipped so that only part of the tablet is visible, there is a gap between the keyboard and the iPad that gives slightly when pressed. This makes it difficult to write with the stylus. If there was a way to close it like some Toughbooks do, that would be much better. All in all, this isn't a bad case if you want your iPad to work like a laptop. Especially for the price.

Pros
  • also understandable for the old ones
Cons
  • No performance
