I am making a large quilt. I sewed a very long seam on the wrong side. It was quite difficult to rip it out with my hand seam ripper. And then I remembered that I bought it! I attached the suction cup to hold it nice and tight. I had it about waist deep on my editing table. I lined the seam and once I started I buttoned up the entire length of the seam without having to stop! What would have taken me at least an hour only took 3 minutes! I couldn't believe it. It was the extra hand I always needed. Great invention! If you secured the tacks first it may take a few minutes to start, but once you can start pulling those stitches apart; it is a smooth movement.
