It was tricky figuring out what size I needed based on the reviews. Thankfully I got it right the first try. I am short and really thick. I bought this to specifically work out in. I am 5'3 and a size 14 and I ordered a 2x, which worked well. I was able to fasten to the middle hook (there are 3 hooks), which allowed for some room to squeeze into it more once I drop some inches. The quality of this product is very great, sturdy, yet breathable. The material causes you to sweat more, but without any bad odors. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a workout specific waist trainer.
