Everything about this case was perfect...EXCEPT the apple pencil charging which was a deal breaker. The magnet works fine but charging doesn't work at all. The constant removal of the case for charging leads to deformation and reduces the ease of use that Apple strives for with these products. Maybe I have a bad block? I still have to return the case as my 2021 iPad speakers don't match the 2020 case, but I don't think this will affect the stylus connection. Also, the case was fairly thin and protective... The hatch on the back belies my penchant for minimalist cases, but the amount of viewing angles it offers makes up for the looks. Outperforms most other cases and allows you to use it on your lap thanks to its flat bottom. The Apple Pencil case is great, but I think the wear and tear will show pretty quickly. This case was perfect aside from my pencil charging issue.
