It looks like it should be a lot more expensive (I've seen them.

It looks like it should be a lot more expensive (I've seen them double the price in specialty stores). Looks great and works well. Read some reviews and wanted to put it in the bedroom where it can be turned on from the left to avoid touching the bear with your hand when shifting gears. That plan didn't work out so I ended it at the correct shift point boot up No issues with hand scratching on bear Works great.
