I've been a big fan of their products for a number of years. I currently have a 16 channel system with 5 megabyte cameras, all with audio. I was looking forward to their new 4K product, especially for Street View so I can get the license plate clearer. I currently connect all cameras to a powered PoE switch in my closet and then connect a network cable to my computer room. Works perfectly. However, this new system does NOT support the use of powered PoE switches. This comes from the Reolink engineers after I opened a ticket with them. The only way this system can work is by connecting cameras directly to the NVR itself. I ran some tests and the original images along with the sound were just stunning. However, it is clear that this system has not been fully tested as I experienced numerous camera freezes when a single camera was connected directly to the NVR. I cannot recommend you to buy this product. It's too new and buggy. Also, Reolink's technical support is very slow as all the staff are based in China. They have no presence in the United States and it takes several rounds of emails to get your point across. I would love to give a great review on this product but it just isn't ready to hit the market yet. If you are looking for a truly amazing system with 5MB cameras and built-in audio, check out the other products. Really excellent.
