Sylvania Progressive Scan DVD/VCR Combo

Works as promised. Both DVD players and VCRs are easy to use and provide clear images. Programming a VCR for TV shows by time is very cumbersome, but useful.

Nice car for TV and video

I wanted to buy a small VHS/DVD player for my bedroom but I was short on space and money. This is tied to the old style (no HD TV) and works great. I look at a lot of cassettes because they are usually very cheap on Amazon. I would recommend anyone who wants a good backup car to buy one of these.

VERY worth the money!

In my previous review I pointed out that part of the DVD died after a few movies. IMPORTANT to know that most people these days are looking for a working VCR/VHS player and the VCR on this machine STILL works great and with a used car (it has been CLEARLY said) NOBODY can guarantee how long it will last. last! This seller offered a full/part refund BUT I'm happy with this unit and think I got my money's worth, especially considering a GOOD VCR/VHS player is VERY hard to find! Farmer

Be careful with this item and the DiscountJungle seller.

I bought a refurbished one from DiscountJungle. It looked great out of the box - nicely packaged, clean, all parts wrapped in plastic, remote control batteries included. But the very first DVD I tried to play didn't work. Other DVDs didn't work either - everything showed "Disk Error". It's time to pack it up and send it back. Unfortunately, DiscountJungle's return policy requires you to pay the return shipping and restocking fees and makes no exception for defective items. So I completely threw
