Very versatile and strong enough for light objects. I think a rechargeable battery would work too, although it's heavy. The metal brackets are a bit weak but still work. Heavier gauge wire, like standard hangers, would have been preferable, but that would likely have increased the price. They are a decent size. If they were bigger, the boxes would slide out too far and get in the way. For larger and heavier objects with the same depth, perhaps make the box twice as wide? I would recommend them and buy them again if needed.
