🔧 Pegboard Bin Accessories and Attachments for Workbench Organization Review

Recently purchased one of these 6' wooden benches from Menards and built/installed a perforated board frame onto it, using a large sheet of brown perforated board from Home Depot cut to size. These small trays fit perfectly inside and are perfect for storing small items. They also appear to be long-lived.

The bins I bought are great for storing small tools on a perforated modeling board. I have mounted points in one, airbrush accessories in the second, and small pictures and scrapers in the third. I prefer this storage over cork wood bins/crates because they don't take up desk space. They can be high enough to reach objects and not get in the way of what you are working/modeling on your bench. I recommend this product.

Very versatile and strong enough for light objects. I think a rechargeable battery would work too, although it's heavy. The metal brackets are a bit weak but still work. Heavier gauge wire, like standard hangers, would have been preferable, but that would likely have increased the price. They are a decent size. If they were bigger, the boxes would slide out too far and get in the way. For larger and heavier objects with the same depth, perhaps make the box twice as wide? I would recommend them…

Firstly, the containers are very well made. As someone who has been working with plastic for 15 years, these things strike me. They are thick enough not to deform when ejected from the mold. It is important for them that they hang flush on your perforated board. The best thing about them is the hangers. Product arrived on time. It was sent with other items. They are well packed in their own box. Tight and good enough where I believe the shipping packaging will withstand abuse. Except too much water. It was exactly what I wanted and more than expected. Instead of the plastic hooks, there are metal clips that fit perfectly on my pegboard. Many people have complained about the two-piece installation with a separate wire form. Maybe they didn't have one-piece containers, or maybe they didn't have a problem with it. Here are my two problems with solid containers: 1) The tabs break. We all try not to spend a lot of money on simple little perforated cardboard containers so that you end up with a cheap product and the tabs break the first time you take them off. I bought 9 of these 12 drawer sets to organize hardware in my workshop from nails to washers to screws and more. These baskets are excellent for this purpose. I wish there was another 4th size that was taller/deeper as the largest baskets in this pack didn't quite suit my purposes.
