I'm not a pro at this and I don't know if this will help you but I hope it helps clear some doubts. It matters to me because I have a Roku TV and basically connect it to the TV with an HDMI cable and just plug it into the HDMI Arc slot on both and it will connect and remember the pairing button on Subwoofer2. Idk I'm not a good person to tell the difference but it sounds better than a TV speaker and I can hear the bass too. 3. I don't know if other people have problems with this, but mine works fine, but who knows, maybe there's something wrong with the packaging, something went wrong or something else. Just give tech support a call, at least that's how I feel because there haven't been any problems since I got mine so far. . It's a lot bigger than I thought but I'm not sure about the weight as it seemed light to me. So currently it's pretty much the February 26th 2021 update. So for Bluetooth to get Bluetooth to work it has to be done manually by lightly pressing the Bluetooth button on the top of the speaker, or at least as far as I know because I'm not sure how to work remotely via bluetooth. There was a day when the speaker didn't connect to the TV for some reason, probably my fault, but it was just a quick and easy fix that consisted of unplugging the arc from the TV and plugging it back in. It has LED indicators so you can see if it's on or off or whatever. So far everything is working fine. It is currently 03/19/21. Now I'm not sure if it's a problem with me or with IT because I'm not sure if I've got it fully connected or if it's just a problem because now it's rarely that I don't have a connection want to connect to my tv but all i need to do is plug it in and plug it in and its ok lol still the same issues but easy to fix but so far so good.
