Like many people, I've been looking for a decent Ryzen 3000 compatible motherboard. The B450 Steel Legend (as well as the micro-ATX version B450M) should come refurbished out of the box when purchasing a new board from Revain Services. If you have any doubts about buying this board, don't worry. It has worked well with my Ryzen 7 3800X and EVGA 2070 XC Ultra so far. Despite the poor VRM quality and the exclusive use of Wraith Prism, my CPU temperatures only fluctuate between 50 and 60 seconds while gaming with only the two case fans on my NZXT H510. And during my gaming sessions everything was absolutely great. I don't even think I'm over 75 degrees yet. All in all, the B450 Steel Legend is a good and affordable motherboard that will get your Ryzen 3000 working out of the box. A PCI-E STEEL SLOT and RAM clip/lock are a nice touch when using a large graphics card. I didn't have any problems with the ASRock RGB software either, and the BIOS layout is very simple and easy to understand. The B450 was extremely easy to handle and build. However, if you expect premium additional features from this board, you should look elsewhere. But for the price it's very good! Note. If you plan on using the Wraith Prism, I recommend adjusting the fan curves or buying a different cooler if you want quiet performance right out of the box. Serves its purpose, but too loud for my taste.
