Read the specs carefully, wait. You don't list them all.

So in October 2019 I bought a Renogy 3000w inverter/charger from Revain for $899. We had it installed by a professional. A month or so went by and then the power went out when connected to ShorePower - flashing red light on the inverter switch. I reset the inverter, otherwise nothing happens. Another month passed and then the power went out again when connecting to ShorePower. This time I was more observant and noticed that we have 3 heaters on at the same time: a toaster, microwave and electric fireplace? I guess this shouldn't be a problem as we are connected to 50A ShorePower and have a 50A bus but it was a problem. After calling Renogy support and waiting 25 minutes, the technician informed me that the inverter/charger limit is 24 amps (3000W/125VAC) even when connected to a 50 amp shore power supply. This means that my entire bus cannot draw more than 24 amps even when connected to a 50 amp mains. He quickly put me through to customer service who said I was already past the 30 day return window and should just try selling on eBay, thanks Renogy for that! $900 is wasted! My complaint about Renogy is not related to their product. This is relevant in their Revain list. This limit is not listed anywhere as of 01/28/2020! Maybe I should just know this information, but I think it should be mentioned to a potential buyer, right? Buyers pay attention to what they don't tell you. Unlucky tourist
