I just got this a few weeks ago and like the ad200 it's fantastic. Several new features: Reload time increased from 2 to 1/1 power to 1.5 seconds. Color accuracy has been improved from +/-200K to +/-100K. It has the ability to control 10 stops instead of 1/3 stops for even better control of light output. Now it can also go down to 1/256 performance, which is essential in extremely low light conditions to balance the environment well. My favorite new cosmetic feature is the raised hard lip that extends beyond the LCD screen to protect it and the buttons in case of a hit or the like. This housing is also compatible with existing AD200 lamps, Fresenel heads, round heads and batteries. All in all, it's a lot of awesome and essential features for just $50 more.
