I received this portable desk in July. Last week, during a Zoom meeting, the plastic parts holding the foot just ruptured. There was a desk on my bed with just a laptop on it. I have no idea what could have caused the breakage at this point other than the part must have worn out and just failed. Luckily I was able to intercept my laptop before it was damaged. On the one hand, I used this table for an hour or two, five days a week for four months. Although, even then, it should have taken longer. The plastic parts shouldn't have collapsed like that. Now we need to find something to replace.
