Review on 🛏️ Queen Size NEWLAKE Striped Cotton Patchwork Bedspread Quilt Set with Classic Design - 3-Piece Collection by Jeanette Jenson

Very happy with this blanket. I'm only giving 4 stars because the inner "cotton" is very thin, no thicker than a cardboard nail file. The seller does not specify the exact thickness of the filling. The overall thickness of the case is less than that of a regular #2 pencil. The "orange" color is definitely not as bright as advertised, but it's close. More like a homemade pumpkin pie, deep rusty orange with lots of cinnamon :) In general, it pleases the eye with warm, deep, beautiful fall colors. Full coverage on all sides. The shells are the same as on the pillowcases, but there is no chocolate border on the covers. Both pillowcases have the same patterns, although I don't see the importance of matching them exactly. The case was folded neatly in the package. There are no bad seams anywhere, no bad smell, no stains or defects. Tumble dry on low heat fluff/refresh, change every 5 minutes for 30 minutes. The lint filter picked up a lot of pink cotton, not that the comforter had a lot of cotton, so be careful how long it stays in the dryer (although the instructions say not to dry). I read the reviews carefully before making a "yes or no" decision. I was afraid this bedspread would be horribly ugly with a horrible quilting pattern. But the quilting pattern itself is a printed design made from a single fabric, not sewn together. I am embarrassed that other customers have posted some photos showing the horrible pattern unless they have been photoshopped because they were unrelated. I'm glad I took the risk. Very good quality quilt (except for extremely thin batting) and an affordable price. I think it's absolutely beautiful :) (Note: I can't fully adjust my camera to capture accurate "warm" deep colors. My 3 photos just show slightly brighter than life)
