The fasteners on both sides of the braces did not work. I cut the suspenders too short and when I tried to make them longer they didn't open wide enough to put the suspenders through. Eventually I was able to open it just enough to slip the suspenders through, but he caught it and pulled the thread out. In fact, the shorts fit well and stretch well. The bow tie was a good size and good quality. I am giving it 3 stars as the bow tie and bottoms were good and maybe the clasp on the suspenders was just faulty. I will still return this item.
