On hard surfaces like floors, Stink Free removes odors quickly and completely. On fabric or carpet this may take some time. It's best to keep the carpet moving and turn on a fan to allow the urine and solution to dry. I have elderly pets and this product is saving my life. It may not be clever, but I put it in a spray bottle for easier application. *I USE THE MASK WHEN I SPRAY INSIDE* and immediately leave the place where I am spraying. For example, a friend had a cat that peed on a pillow. We took it outside in the sun (helps dry/refresh) and with the mask on I sprayed it on then we went inside. Extremely efficient. Yes, spraying takes time, unlike squirting, but "spraying directly" near the fabric helps penetrate the fiber without using up the entire bottle. A second application may be required. But I haven't found anything better. I'm not buying for the first time; One of the local pet stores had Stink Free but when I came back to get another bottle they didn't have any so I'm buying online now. Can't live without!
