The height is about the same as for an ear level speaker. However, the mounting bracket is very flimsy and the speakers point slightly towards the floor when using the keyhole bracket. The rear speakers should be a bit higher, but not very high. The mounting cover is made of poor quality plastic and fits very loosely. However, the price is affordable and you get what you pay for. If I had to do it again I would buy a more educational brand even if it costs a little more. The coasters allow you to run wires through the coaster time which allows you to hide the wires which would look nice but I couldn't get the wires to go through successfully.
