Not genuine Apple

They don't like misleading ads that make you believe they are genuine Apple products. This item did not work properly and was eventually returned. I spent more money to replace it with a genuine Apple product and the genuine replacement worked great. Don't try to save a few bucks. It will cost you more on return if the product and time is wasted. Just buy the real thing.
