How to rate it? in lighting and ceiling fans

When we bought them, our goal was to provide children with personal lighting near their bed, which is especially useful during power outages. We didn't buy it for late-night reading and we didn't buy it for long-term use. Due to our application we intended and used the installation of Velcro. However, we share the following. What we like: - We got a 4 pack (best value for money) - Batteries come in a box - Easy battery installation/replacement - The light is actually very bright (though not a soft white), we would have preferred much better) - Manual control. Also, the lights don't come on just because you roll over. - Works reliably as the light comes on when the switch reaches the "on" position and the light goes off when the switch reaches the "off" position. What do we do? Likes: - Velcro as intended (pre-attached to the lights) arranged vertically in two (2) tiny strips, one on each side (near the edges), centered at the top/bottom. That's a problem. When you flip the up/down switch, the light swings over the Velcro and shifts. it's not ok - The switch itself isn't smooth - it kind of gets stuck when you try to move it in any direction and requires you to press a little harder than you might expect to apply pressure that way. This amplifies the Velcro problem mentioned above. We gave up and just put thick double sided tape on it and hope the batteries last ;) Put some premium lithium in there so I doubt they will be replaced in the next 1-2 years. In general, they work for us. It has a planned use and works better than all other options tried. Recommended if you agree with what is described and plan a similar use case. We would buy again.
