Like thick paper towels, but better

Honestly, I only tried them because there is a shortage of recycled paper towels in our area. I'm glad I did and since they have so few reviews I decided to jump in. For the record, I'm someone who uses a kitchen towel for almost everything and rarely uses paper towels for things like chores that should be lint-free. when I ran out of kitchen towels and for the good of my partner who is struggling to get on the train with less waste. It's now fully undoable and is a great tool that I'm happy to have in my arsenal. First, they are very similar to a very thick paper towel, maybe a little softer. They have a better, drier texture than hand wipes or cloth-sized sponges, but won't crack when you wring them out to reuse. So they're great for tasks like stroking dried fish or meat, or anything you don't want to use a towel for. I've also kept one near my stovetop to wipe up grease stains and the like when they appear, or to wipe up sticky ones when my trusty kitchen towel has just been pulled out of the drawer and I really don't want to get it dirty just yet. .When I use it for the first time, I spray it with soap, rinse with hot water, then hang it on our small towel rail or over the faucet. In this way, they can be used several times and then sent to the laundry along with the kitchen towels. I wash mine at full speed in hot water. Medium tumble dryer. They come out quite white and a little less crispy. Even though we have about five people on the rotation, we're all still in great shape after a month. I leave the "clean" bag that came with them hanging by the sink and we go after it before buying a new one. The great thing is that they're made from bamboo, they're very renewable so I know I won't feel guilty if I end up throwing one away. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to plain paper towels.
