EXCELLENT thermal underwear for children. Inside super soft. wash well Both of my children were very warm during our drive to Mammoth (daytime temperatures on the slopes are around 40 degrees). I got the XS for my almost 4 year old boy (39.5 inches and 34 pounds) and they fit exactly as you would expect in a base layer - close to the skin but not too restrictive. I got the girls version in a small size for my tall 6 year old girl (47.25"/52lbs) and they fit great too but she will probably need a size up next season (a little snug on her than her brother but it's a bit thicker!) Great value for the top and bottom set.
